Gated Community Security Managers Association is more than your typical security association; its members are an intricate part of the group. Nowhere will you find a group of individuals more personally involved in their organization than you will find here. Our members are experts in the security field with many years of experience and eager to help others. We are a growing organization looking for individuals who share the same interest and desire to help others in our unique security field.
MEMBERSHIP CLASSIFICATIONS
Active Membership – Individuals, who are currently serving as the Director of Security of a Gated Community. May be proprietary or contract and whose only responsibility is to that individual community.
Associate Membership – Must have over 5 years’ experience as a director of security or over 20 years in a related security field, such as law enforcement, military, or private industry.
All members serve for the betterment of their individual communities and not for corporate organizational interest.
Membership is individual and non-transferable from one person to another, except where membership fees are paid by the gated community and then the newly appointed security director shall serve the remainder of the current year. Membership fees cover one calendar year. All memberships expire December 31 of each year; memberships accepted after October 1 will be credited to the following year.
Can Vendors Join?
No, Membership is exclusively limited to the Security Managers within a gated community in order to provide an open, candid environment in which members feel free to discuss their critical safety management issues knowing that their comments will not be used to create a sales opportunity.
